SERID has been training and preparing professionas in the area of D/deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind, and/or late deafened for years and is dedicated to continue its mission of doing so.

Each year, state coordinators arrange a conference to be held involving active professionals working in the field of deafness. The purpose? To bring together the greatest minds in the field to gain a greater learning for and better devise service methods to help those who are hard of hearing.
