GenCyber – Cyber Charged

A cybersecurity summer camp for deaf and hard- of-hearing high school students, hosted at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Students will engage in a 6-day residential camp at UAH in Huntsville, AL, to learn basic cybersecurity and STEM skills through hands-on experiences and group activities. Students must be entering 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade in fall 2018 to be eligible. The camp assumes no prior knowledge in cybersecurity and only requires a basic understanding of computers. GenCyber is funded by government grants and is free to all students. Camp is taught by both deaf and hearing instructors. Sign and voice interpreting will be provided.
